The occupiers are attacking the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region and suppressing it. The head of the Kupiansk city military administration, Andrii Biesiedin, stated that due to the difficult situation, the last post office has closed, and all ATMs have stopped working.

According to Biesiedin, the Russians control the roads to the city and attack cars with FPV drones. Even humanitarian shipments are difficult to deliver to the city.

"Unfortunately, the post office was closed to prevent the accumulation of people; we could not risk the safety of employees and visitors. Also, ATMs ceased to operate due to FPV drone attacks on collector vehicles," Biesiedin said.

He added that the security situation in the region is very complicated and critical on the left bank. Biesiedin urges residents to move to safer places.

The State Emergency Service reported that they continue to evacuate residents from frontline settlements in the Kupiansk district. Rescuers are using armored equipment to protect people from shelling.

Residents are being evacuated from the city of Kupiansk and villages of the Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, Kurylivka, and Petropavlivska communities. Over the weekend, rescuers evacuated people from the village of Kurylivka, Kyvsharivka settlement, and the city of Kupiansk.

According to the SES, the elderly and people with disabilities were most in need of assistance.

People leaving their homes due to hostilities are initially directed to intermediate evacuation points located in safe places.

Previously, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that the situation on the front remains difficult and is intensifying.

It is also reported that the Russians are actively preparing for assaults in southern Ukraine.

The enemy achieved success in the Donetsk direction over the past day, with intensification observed near seven settlements.

ISW analysts report that offensive actions by Russian occupiers are observed on the Kupiansk, Svatove, Pokrovske, Kurakhove, and Vuhledar directions on the Ukrainian front. At the same Time, on the Ukrainian front in the Kursk region on November 8, Ukrainian troops continue to move to the northwest.
