Occupants nationalized Usyk's property in Crimea: who else made it to the list

According to ТСН: The authorities of Russia in Crimea announced a new wave of illegal confiscation of property belonging to Ukrainian citizens and businesses. The ownership of the famous boxer Oleksandr Usyk has made it to the list of nationalized property.

This was reported by the speaker of the regional parliament Volodymyr Konstantinov.

Reasons and who else is on the 'list'

The list includes 84 objects. The occupants cited reasons such as 'cooperation with Ukraine' and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Representatives of the occupation administration accuse Oleksandr Usyk, a native of Simferopol, of 'supporting Nazi ideology'.

'He has repeatedly condemned the 'SVO' (as the full-scale war against Ukraine is called in the Russian Federation) and organized fundraising for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,' said a representative of the occupation authorities.

Who else fell under the strike

In addition to Usyk's property, assets of other individuals and companies also made it to the list:

  • Ihor Franchuk - a politician and advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, lost control over the companies LLC 'Lylaste' and LLC 'Crimean School 'Teskao'.

  • Industrial facilities. The list includes LLC 'Tavrida-Plaza', LLC 'Elevator Zhovtneve' and the assets of JSC 'Mine named after O. F. Zasyadka' (including a sanatorium on the coast).

  • Military personnel. The occupants have also begun to seize property belonging to Ukrainians who are currently defending the country. 'Treason cases' have been initiated against some of them on the peninsula.

It should be noted that Usyk claimed that the only boxer he and the Klitschko brothers would never be able to match is another boxing legend.

Earlier, Russian President's assistant Yuri Ushakov expressed the opinion that Ukraine would never be able to return the occupied Crimea. This indicates the continuation of Russia's policy regarding forced control over the peninsula and attempts to destroy Ukrainian identity in these territories.

In summary, it can be said that the situation in Crimea remains tense. The illegal actions of the occupation authorities evoke international condemnation, yet real actions from the global community are still insufficient to change the situation for the better. This reminds of the duration and complexity of the conflict in a region where the rights of Ukrainian citizens are violated.
