Oleg Sentsov captured a Russian and spoke about his first request.

Ukrainian director, former Kremlin prisoner, and commander of the assault company in the 47th brigade Oleg Sentsov told how during the battle it was possible to capture Russians. In particular, he shared the story of one of the occupiers and explained what he feels around the invaders.

According to Sentsov, the youngest in the group of prisoners is 18 years old, and he had been on the position for only four days. After being captured, the first thing he was interested in was when he could call his mother.

«We captured a few prisoners (not in the Kursk region). The youngest is 19 years old (he will be in November). He stayed in position for four days. He got caught a month ago for a «misstep». They offered: either to prison or to war. He chose the latter, and now I'm tying his hands with tape, and he's asking when he can call his mom. I give him water, let him smoke (their cigarettes), don't humiliate him, but warn him about the bullet in the head if he tries to resist», – the soldier shares.

Sentsov says he has a lot of anger towards Russians and is «absolutely indifferent to them as prisoners». The reason, the director assures, is not at all «in his kindness or the shabby appearance of the prisoners».

«For me, they are only an exchange fund for which we can pull our own out of the enemy's prison. Fighting with prisoners doesn't take a lot of courage, unlike the amount of spirit needed to storm the trench,» the soldier noted. 

Oleg Sentsov emphasized that when he looks at Ukrainian fighters next to captured Russians, he realizes that Ukrainians are winning. «In strength, in spirit, in motivation, in truth. It is very difficult for us, and it may be even more difficult, but we are winning,» the soldier stressed. He assured that Ukrainians are worthy of the future victory.

Recall that Sentsov, who is fighting as part of the «Magura» brigade, explained why the war may last for another 10 years. In his opinion, Ukraine has human resources, but they are afraid to use them.

Sentsov also answered whether it is possible to motivate men who went abroad to fight.
