Commemorating the memory of Oleksiy Karliychuk
According to inkorr.com: Every morning at 9 o'clock Ukrainians pay tribute to those who died in the war with Russia. Among them is Oleksiy Karliychuk, a senior soldier who died on May 10, 2022, in Mariupol from a shot by a Russian sniper at the Azovstal steel plant.
Oleksiy was born in 2002 in the Chernivtsi region. He was known for his passion for art and sports, as well as his serious attitude towards everything he undertook. After graduating from school, the young man began working as a tattoo artist and dreamed of opening his own salon.
Very brave, responsible. He had an incredible zest for life and always accomplished the tasks set before him.
In 2021, Oleksiy signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and served in Mariupol, where he died. His comrades and relatives remember him as a responsible soldier with a dream of a better future for Ukraine.
Oleksiy Karliychuk was buried in March 2023. Posthumously, he was awarded the Orders of 'For Courage' III degree and the 'Cross of the Hero'. He left behind parents, a brother, and a sister.
We honor the memory of all who died in the struggle for Ukraine's independence, including Oleksiy Karliychuk, who sacrificed his life for the bright future of our country.
