Oleksiy Sukhanov got rid of his Russian passports
Oleksiy Sukhanov shared his unusual way of getting rid of his Russian passports. According to him, it all happened unofficially: he burned one passport and drew an offensive picture on the other. Although now this passport has lost its legal force, Sukhanov is satisfied with the result.“Even though I lost my passport, this drawing fills me with positivity,” he noted.Oleksiy, previously a well-known TV presenter in Russia, moved to Ukraine due to political circumstances. In the new country, he obtained Ukrainian citizenship and actively expresses his views on the situation in Russia, emphasizing the need to transform that country into a national park for animals within 50 years.
“Russia must become a place where animals can live in peace, without human interference,” Sukhanov emphasized. The story of Oleksiy Sukhanov is yet another example of how personal decisions can reflect broader social and political changes. His actions draw interest as they demonstrate the attitude of artists and public figures towards the situation in Russia and its future. Sukhanov, along with other Ukrainian activists, aims to raise awareness about the protection of the natural environment and animal rights in the region.
