Heating will be launched in Pavlohrad on October 17: which institutions will receive heat first.
According to inkorr.com: Pavlohrad is actively preparing for the beginning of the heating season 2025-2026 for social facilities. This decision was made by the executive committee of the city council due to the deterioration of weather conditions, according to the law that allows heating to be turned on if the average daily temperature falls below +8 °C for three days. This was reported by STEP.
Start of the heating season in Pavlohrad
Heat in the city is planned to be supplied from October 17 if the temperature remains low. The first to receive heat will be:
- hospitals and clinics;
- kindergartens and schools;
- sports complexes and cultural institutions;
- Children's Social Support Center 'My Family'.
The city authorities emphasized that
the launch of heat in social facilities is a priority, as it directly affects the comfort of children, medical staff, and patients.
Resource supply for boiler operation will be provided by several enterprises: LLC 'Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine', JSC 'DTEK Dnipro Electric Networks', PJSC PEEM 'Central Energy Company' and KP 'Pavlohradvodokanal'.
Heating of residential buildings
After the stable launch of heat in social facilities, the city authorities plan to gradually connect residential buildings as well. These decisions will be made separately, depending on weather conditions and the readiness of systems.
Preparation for the heating season has been ongoing since the summer: checks of heating networks, repairs of boiler houses, and updates of equipment were carried out to avoid interruptions during frosts.
Thus, the authorities of Pavlohrad are taking necessary measures to ensure comfortable and safe heating for all social facilities. The start of the heating season is an important stage that concerns both the health of children and patients and the overall well-being of the community, especially in unfavorable weather conditions.
