As analysts note, on the second day, assault groups advanced close to Korenevo, occupied Zeleny Shlyakh, and Nikolaevo-Darino. At that Time, the enemy was in Novoivanovka, Olgivka, and Kremennoe.
Advance units also began entering Sudzha and fully securing Goncharovka, and began bypassing Sudzha from the north.
«In the south, Guevo and Hornal were liberated. Active movement towards Malaya Loknya began. From this day on, this direction will receive the most conflicting information», the report states.
Analysts note that updates will be delayed, and some information may ultimately differ from the accounts of direct participants in the events.
Recall that on August 12, Oleksandr Syrskyi first confirmed the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region and stated that Ukraine controls a territory of 1000 sq. km in Russia. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the SBU, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other officials to prepare a humanitarian plan for an operation in the territory of the Kursk region.
Earlier, the leadership of Kursk stated that the enemy army lost control of 28 settlements in the region. In fact, their number is significantly higher. This was reported by DeepState.
According to analysts' estimates, approximately 44 settlements have been liberated. They also clarified that the status of ten other settlements remains unknown.
