Hungarians on Ukraine: why society is divided over the war.
According to inkorr.com: The majority of Hungarians support Ukraine, despite the existence of a portion that perceives the situation negatively due to the actions of Prime Minister Orban and his team. Previously, Orban had expressed solidarity with Ukraine, but with the onset of the war, circumstances became complicated. Nevertheless, cooperation between the countries continues, and the main task remains to maintain understanding and develop a common future.
"It is important to remember that the conflict at the leadership level should not interfere with peaceful communication between peoples," emphasizes Hortyani.
The Hungarian society is aware of the threat posed by Russian aggression and faces its own difficulties. However, it is important to distinguish political rhetoric from real relationships between people. After the war, it will be necessary to build new connections, and for now, it is crucial to make the most of opportunities to preserve understanding and cooperation.
In the current conditions, when Ukraine is fighting external challenges, support from neighboring Hungary looks particularly important. The period of recovery after the conflict will be a test for both countries, and it is hoped that there will be constructive dialogue and the establishment of friendly relations at all levels.
