Deferral from 'Reserve+' Military Service Available for Educators: Key Requirements.
Deferral for Educators in the 'Reserve+' System
According to Novyny.live: The Ministry of Defense has announced that educators can apply for a deferral from the 'Reserve+' military service system under specific conditions. This option is available to scientific, research-pedagogical, and pedagogical staff who intend to obtain this postponement.
To apply for the deferral, educators must provide data contained in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education. The primary requirements include:
- confirmation of their primary place of employment;
- a salary rate of no less than 0.75 of a full position;
- a designation of belonging to the personnel group of the educational process or holding an administrative position.
The deferral application is processed through the 'Reserve+' mobile application.
Rights and Options for Interns
Additionally, interns also have the right to a deferral, and their personal presence at a Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRC) is not mandatory. If educators encounter difficulties in processing the deferral, they should contact their employer for assistance.
This Ministry of Defense initiative is part of the state's efforts to support educators during wartime, helping to preserve the workforce potential within the education sector.
The deferral can help retain professionals in educational institutions, which is crucial for ensuring quality education and training new generations of specialists. As the situation in the country remains challenging, such measures can contribute to stability within the education sector. This policy reflects the ongoing need to balance national defense requirements with the preservation of essential civilian institutions.
