What is known about the Vassal House
The Vassal House was designed by architect Oleksandr Bernardazzi in the 19th century. Throughout its history, the building housed the editorial office of a Greek-language newspaper, the Spanish consulate, and was also home to the famous professor Mykola Popov. In 2006, the building was transferred for reconstruction into a hotel, but the project was never implemented.
