40 years of experience: what pension can Ukrainians expect in 2025.
Ukrainians can expect a pension based on their insurance experience and salary during their working life. As reported by the specialized publication 'On Pension', the requirements for experience to receive a pension increase every year. For example, in 2025, to receive a pension at 60 years old, one must have at least 32 years of experience, for 63 years - from 22 to 32 years, and for 65 years - a minimum of 15 years of experience. By 2028, to receive a pension at 60 years old, at least 35 years of experience will be required.
However, if a citizen has 40 years of official insurance experience, they can retire at 60 years. The size of the pension will depend on several individual factors, but, for example, when receiving the minimum wage (8,000 hryvnias in 2025), the pension will amount to 3,600 hryvnias.
