The Pension Fund has closed information about the pensions of Yanukovych and Azarov to prevent... "public order violations".
The Deputy Chair of the Pension Fund Board, Iryna Kovpashko, reported that the fund refuses to disclose the pension amounts received by former high-ranking officials such as Viktor Yanukovych, Mykola Azarov, Raisa Bohatyrova, and others. According to the Pension Fund, a total of approximately 10.3 million people are receiving pensions, of which over 800 thousand are pensioners whose payments are supported by the state budget.
- The Fund believes that disclosing such information may harm former officials, causing negative attitudes towards them.
- Institution representatives claim that publishing this data could lead to social destabilization.
Providing such information, according to them, may disrupt public order and put citizens in a negative mood. Despite this, judicial institutions continue to address the pension payments to former high-ranking officials and civil servants.
The Ukrainian Pension Fund refuses to disclose information about the pensions of former top officials, claiming that this may cause negative sentiments towards them and destabilize society.
