Pensioners will receive large supplements - who is on the payment list.
Who will receive payments
New rules for regulating payments were introduced by a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Now the Pension Fund must ensure transparent and regular payments to pensioners who have won cases in court, but have not received compensation for a long time due to the absence of clear rules.
The new procedure applies to both recent and old court decisions regarding pension supplements. However, not all categories of citizens are covered by this mechanism. For example, internally displaced persons have their own payment system.
Funds for paying pension debts will be allocated from insurance contributions and the state budget.
What awaits pensioners
Importantly, payments will be made gradually, monthly, depending on available financial support. At the same time, a register of court decisions will be formed for public access, so that each pensioner can track the status of their payments.
The new rules are already in effect, but the process of implementing technical innovations is ongoing, aimed at increasing the transparency and efficiency of the pension supplement payment system.
This new system of pension supplement payments in Ukraine aims to improve access to fair payments for pensioners who have won cases in court but faced issues in receiving funds due to the absence of clear rules. Now the process has become more transparent and effective, allowing citizens to receive regular payments for debts according to court decisions.Read also
