A plane in the US was caught under a bullet before takeoff
At Dallas Airport in Texas, a passenger plane from Southwest Airlines was damaged while taxiing before departure. This was reported by Sky News.
A bullet penetrated the right side of the plane, near the cockpit. After that, flight 2494 was canceled, and the plane was taken out of service.
All passengers were evacuated from the commercial airliner, which returned to the airport gates. An alternative flight was organized for those who were supposed to fly.
The recorded incident occurred during the maneuvering of a Boeing 737-800, which sustained minor damage. There are currently no casualties or injuries.
At the time of the incident, the aircraft was preparing for departure to Indianapolis International Airport.
Other similar incidents in Kyiv and the Kyiv region
According to previously known data, an incident involving gunfire occurred in the village of Shchaslyve in the Boryspil district of Kyiv region. Fortunately, this time no one was injured.
It is also worth mentioning that near Kyiv, in a cafe in Sofiivska Borshchahivka, a shooting occurred on October 12, resulting in one police officer being wounded. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
Recall that Kyiv has been trying for a long time to restore part of air connectivity with Europe, conducting negotiations with European aviation authorities and airlines.
