Warehouse facilities are on fire near Moscow (video).
According to inkorr.com: A large fire broke out in a warehouse building in Balashikha, near Moscow. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, citing information from the publication 'Glavkom'.
Witnesses claim they heard the sound of explosions, and a huge column of thick black smoke rose from the fire site, visible even from other districts.
According to preliminary data, the fire spread to neighboring buildings, including the premises of the Balashikha Research Chemical Plant and a company that sells household chemicals.
As of now, there is no information about victims.
Previous incidents
Similar incidents can be recalled: on August 28, the Kuybyshev Oil Refinery in the Samara region, owned by 'Rosneft', stopped operations due to an attack.
Additionally, on August 17, a large fire occurred in Moscow near Shcherbinka Station, where the fire engulfed warehouses, cafes, a bakery, and neighboring buildings.
Thus, a serious fire occurred in a warehouse building in Balashikha, which has already spread to other premises, including a research chemical plant and a company dealing in household chemicals. Although currently there is no data on casualties, it is worth noting that similar situations have repeatedly occurred in this region, indicating potentially increasing safety risks at industrial sites.
