Moving assistance - when it is paid not only to contractors.
Military personnel who move to a new place of service are entitled to moving assistance if they have signed a contract to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But such payments can also be received by those soldiers who were mobilized with an officer rank.
Lawyer Yuri Aivazyan wrote about this on the 'Yuristy.UA' portal.
Moving payment and exception
Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are entitled to various payments. One of such payments is the so-called moving assistance. Usually, this one-time financial aid is paid to those military personnel who sign the first contract for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, as lawyer Yuri Aivazyan emphasized, there is one exception to this payment.
Who, besides contractors, will receive money for relocation
Moving assistance is paid not only when signing the first contract but also for the relocation of contract military personnel to a new place of service. Aivazyan emphasized that this payment applies not only to those serving under contract but also to some mobilized citizens. Moving assistance is provided to those mobilized who hold an officer rank.
We remind that we previously wrote about when the moving assistance for contract military personnel begins to be accrued.
Additionally, we informed about how much privates and officers will be paid for signing the first contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Moving assistance for contract military personnel is not limited solely to the signing of the first contract but can also be provided when relocating to a new place of service. Moreover, officers who have been mobilized may also receive this assistance if they hold an officer rank.Read also
