The Security Service of Ukraine eliminated agents of Russian special services during a special operation, who, under the instructions of the FSB of the Russian Federation, killed SBU Colonel Ivan Voronych in Kyiv. According to the investigation, the murder of the colonel was carried out by two individuals - a man and a woman. Their curator ordered them to monitor the SBU employee, learn about his daily schedule and movement routes. Later, the supervisor provided the killers with coordinates of a hideout where a pistol with a silencer was located. After committing the murder of the Security Service colonel, the killers tried to 'lie low'. However, SBU and National Police employees established their whereabouts in the Kyiv region.

Later, the SBU reported that the orders from the FSB of the Russian Federation were received by foreigners - a man and a woman.

Republican Senator from South Carolina Lindsey Graham stated that in the coming days, the United States will provide Ukraine with a record amount of weapons. He urged to expect tomorrow's address from US President Donald Trump. The senator noted that he does not want to jump ahead, but stated that the US is about to sell a 'huge amount of weapons that could benefit Ukraine' to European allies. Graham added that after several months of attempts by Trump to persuade Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to negotiate, 'a turning point is approaching regarding Russia's invasion of Ukraine.'

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is set to meet with US President Donald Trump and a number of high-ranking American officials at the beginning of the week. He will be in Washington on July 14 and 15, where his meetings with Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Minister Pete Hegseth, as well as Congress, are planned. The trip comes amid statements from the American president about reaching an agreement with NATO on the supply of American weapons to Ukraine through the Alliance.

The Ukrainian Security Service successfully eliminated the agents of Russian special services who were behind Colonel Voronych's murder. Alongside the planned record supply of weapons to Ukraine from the US, NATO is also contributing to efforts to strengthen the country's defense capabilities.
