Teachers Will Receive Benefits for Utilities and Pension for Length of Service: Who Has the Right.
The work of a teacher requires great responsibility, so the state provides educators with benefits. For example, starting from 2025, teachers will be able to receive a pension for length of service and assistance in paying for utilities.
According to legislation, certain categories of teachers are entitled to free housing, heating, and lighting if their income does not exceed a certain level. To take advantage of these benefits, pensioners need to submit the appropriate documents.
In 2025, teachers will be able to retire after reaching 55 years old and having at least 30 years of teaching experience. However, if they return to work after receiving a pension, the payments will be suspended.
Next year, there may be a shortage of teachers in Ukrainian schools, especially for certain subjects, due to low wages. However, there is currently no significant increase in salaries anticipated. Some educators are already preparing for the school year, inquiring about future salaries and pension conditions.
