As a result of DNA confirmation, it became known about the death of the defender of Ukraine Oleksandr Leonidovych Psiarovskyi. This was reported by the acting Irpin mayor Anzhela Makeieva, as informed by

Oleksandr's Life Path
Oleksandr Psiarovskyi was born on December 25, 1970, and lived his entire life in the city of Irpin. In March 2022, he took up arms to defend Ukraine by joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On June 21, 2024, during a combat mission in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region, Oleksandr went missing. The search lasted more than a year, and only in August 2025, thanks to a DNA test, his death was officially confirmed. At the time of his death, Oleksandr was 54 years old.
For most of his life, he worked at 'Ukrtelecom', and spent the last year before the full-scale war at the State Tax University.
Memory of Oleksandr
According to Makeieva, Oleksandr was a loving father, devoted husband, sincere friend, and a true patriot. 'The life path of a warrior is an example of dignity, courage, and love for his homeland. The bright memory of him will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,' she noted.
The farewell to Oleksandr Psiarovskyi will take place today, September 5, 2025. The warrior will be buried at the Alley of Memory of Defenders of Ukraine in his native Irpin.
Oleksandr Psiarovskyi is survived by his wife and daughter.
