German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that the Russian Federation is rapidly producing weapons and ammunition. He compared the volume of arms production in Russia over three months to the volume produced by the entire European Union in a year.

According to Pistorius, the security of Germany is a fragile asset, which is why he urged to increase investments in the country's military capability. This information was published in the German publication Spiegel.

The Minister noted that President of Russia Vladimir Putin is focused on the military needs of his country. As confirmation of his words, Putin announced the use of a new ballistic missile against Ukraine.
