The South Korean government has decided to allocate $110 to each citizen to support domestic demand. The one-time payment will be provided to individuals with low incomes, including families on the edge of poverty and recipients of basic assistance.The program is aimed only at permanent residents of the country, and does not cover foreigners. The cash payments will be available through credit or debit cards, as well as gift certificates issued by local authorities. The distribution of funds will begin in August and continue until October, with a total amount exceeding $110 per person.
