Forecasters have announced the expected weather in Ukraine on August 2: where it will be hot.

Forecasters provided the weather forecast in Ukraine for Saturday, August 2. Local short-term rains with thunderstorms are only predicted in the west of the country. This information was shared by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

The wind will blow from variable directions at a speed of 3-8 m/s. The air temperature at night in most regions will be +11...+16 °C, and during the day - +24...+29 °C. The warmest weather will be in the north and east: at night +16...+21 °C, during the day up to +32 °C. In the Carpathians, the coolest temperatures: at night +7...+12 °C, during the day +17...+22 °C.

In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected. The wind speed will also be variable at 3-8 m/s. The air temperature at night will be +11...+16 °C, and during the day - +24...+29 °C. In the Kyiv region, the forecast at night is +14...+16 °C, during the day +26...+28 °C.

In the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Ternopil regions and in the south, except for Odesa, an extraordinary fire hazard level is predicted.

Forecaster Natalka Didenko predicts air warming during the day up to +25...+28 °C, in the south and east - up to +30...+33 °C. Rains with thunderstorms are expected in Rivne and the Carpathians. In most other parts of the country, rain activity is unlikely.

In Kyiv, it will be dry and warm, +26...+28 °C. A record-long lightning strike was recorded in the USA, measuring 829 kilometers in length. Additionally, recently there was dry weather across the country, although in some regions a decrease in air temperature was observed.

The weather forecast for Saturday, August 2, shows that Ukraine is expected to experience a sharp change in temperature depending on the region. In the western part of the country, short-term rains with thunderstorms are possible, and the air temperature will remain within comfortable limits. However, in the north and east, heat is expected, so residents of these regions should be on alert. Caution is also advised in areas of increased fire hazard. Moreover, the weather in Ukraine is quite diverse, indicating ongoing changes in climatic conditions in the country.
