Changes in Weather at the Beginning of Autumn

According to inkorr.com: Cold days are approaching in Ukraine, soon after the last warm weekends of September, and wet snow may even fall in the Carpathians. This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko in an interview with RBK-Ukraine.

According to the expert's forecasts, we should soon expect significant changes in the weather due to the arrival of cold Arctic air and cyclones. The coldest days will be the weekend of September 27-28, when rain and possible wet snow are forecasted in the Carpathians.

'The forecast of possible snow in the mountainous areas should not cause panic. In high-altitude areas, the combination of low temperature and humidity may provoke wet snow, which is a normal phenomenon for this time of year,' emphasized the meteorologist.

Forecast for the Future

It is expected that the traditional Indian summer will arrive in Ukraine in October. The meteorologist described the signs of a true Indian summer: sunny weather with a few clouds, comfortable temperatures, as well as the absence of strong winds and rain for at least a week.

  • In the Carpathians, daytime temperatures are expected to be between 18 to 22 degrees, in the south of the country - from 25 to 28 degrees.

The expert also noted that autumn this year is arriving on time. Changes in the weather are already noticeable; however, the seasons have not shifted. Winter promises to be less frosty and with a smaller amount of snow.

These changes in the weather at the beginning of autumn indicate traditional climate fluctuations occurring in Ukraine. Cold days precede the cozy Indian summer, which is expected to bring warmth and sunshine to residents in October. This remains a true sign of the Ukrainian autumn cycle, when nature completes one season and prepares for the next.
