Russia controls 60% of Pokrovsk: over 1000 defenders at risk of encirclement

According to inkorr.com: In the town of Pokrovsk, located in Donetsk, Russian forces already control 60% of the territory, posing serious danger to Ukrainian defenders. Official sources report the invaders' infiltration into the town and the existing threat of encirclement for over 1000 servicemen.

'Pokrovsk with Myrnograd is already lost, to put it briefly,' said drone pilot Valeriy, who participated in the defense of the town.

The occupiers use tactics of bypassing maneuvers to avoid direct clashes and infiltrate behind the lines of Ukrainian forces. This complicates the management of the situation for Ukrainian military personnel, who are facing logistical and supply issues.

Increasing likelihood of military encirclement

According to military experts, the large presence of occupiers in the town could lead to the encirclement of 1000-1500 soldiers who remain on the front lines. Without urgent response and support from command, they face serious losses and the risk of capture.

'Pokrovsk is simply an ideal location for gathering personnel. And the Russians understand this — they are bringing in numerous troops who advance without support,' noted a drone operator during an interview.

The active reinforcement of Russian troops in the town threatens not only Pokrovsk but also neighboring Myrnograd. The situation is approaching complete encirclement and loss of control over the region, requiring urgent measures from Ukrainian forces.

Currently, Ukrainian military are looking for ways to strengthen their positions in Pokrovsk and provide support for their units. In the context of the enemy's force buildup, the issues of defense remain extremely urgent, and every hour could be crucial.
