Poland prepares another military aid package for Ukraine.
Poland is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine
Poland is preparing another military aid package for Ukraine. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, after a meeting in the 'Ramstein' format.
“Poland is preparing another aid package for Ukraine, another batch of aid. We always provide what is possible,” the Polish minister noted.
He also added that there is a limit (of aid) that Poland does not cross, and that is 'the security of the Polish state.'
According to the Polish Ministry of Defense, at the Ramstein meeting, the Polish minister presented a 'roadmap' for the coalition's armored capabilities to support Ukraine, as well as information about upcoming aid packages.
Kosiniak-Kamysz also noted that within the circle of countries providing the most military assistance to Ukraine, there is a consensus on the need for continued operation of the 'Ramstein' format with the key participation of the USA.
“This format has proven itself. Certainly, NATO's role is very important. But in my opinion, the Contact Group in which we participate should continue to operate,” emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland.
Let us remind you that today Volodymyr Zelensky met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. According to Zelensky, the conversation focused on strengthening Ukraine's air defense and involving NATO countries in the procurement of Ukrainian weapons based on the Danish model.
Moreover, the Pentagon published a joint statement from the leaders of eight coalitions within the 'Ramstein.' Ukraine's allies, fulfilling obligations since July 12, 2024, agreed on eight roadmaps. They are to optimize assistance to Ukraine, support the development of reliable defense and deterrent capabilities, and promote Ukraine's interaction with NATO.
