According to inkorr.com: At the age of 93, the Duchess of Kent, Catherine, has departed from this world. Since 2022, she was the oldest representative of the British royal family, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Buckingham Palace announced her death, reports 'Glavcom'.
“With deep sorrow, Buckingham Palace announces the death of the Duchess of Kent. She passed away peacefully last night at Kensington Palace surrounded by her family,” the statement reads.
Throughout her life, Catherine actively fulfilled royal duties, engaged in charity and volunteering, helping the homeless.
