Sad news came from her charity foundation — Fondation Brigitte Bardot. The artist died in Paris, however, the cause of her death has not yet been disclosed.

"The Brigitte Bardot Foundation deeply regrets to announce the passing of its founder and president, Madame Brigitte Bardot, the world-famous actress and singer who chose to give up her prestigious career to fully dedicate herself to the protection of animals and her foundation."

In October, it became known about the sudden deterioration of Bardot's health. She left her home and spent over a month in a private hospital in Toulon, where she underwent surgery. No information was provided about her health condition.
