The Embassy of Kazakhstan urges its citizens to leave Ukraine due to active hostilities
The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine calls on its citizens to leave the country or to vacate areas close to active combat zones. This is reported on the official page of the embassy.
«Due to frequent artillery shelling and air attacks in Ukraine, for safety reasons, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ukraine recommends that citizens of Kazakhstan consider the possibility of leaving areas close to active combat zones or leaving Ukraine», – the message states.
The embassy also urges all citizens not to ignore air raid alarms and to immediately seek shelter, to adhere to personal safety measures, and to follow the recommendations of official authorities.
«It should be noted that to exit Ukraine to Kazakhstan, citizens of Kazakhstan may use land routes: through Poland or Moldova, and then by commercial air travel», – the embassy stated.
For exit through Poland, Kazakh citizens need to have a Schengen visa; in the case of exit through Moldova, no visa is required.
It is reminded that on Wednesday, November 20, the Embassy of the United States in Ukraine warned of a potential massive air attack that may occur today. For security reasons, the embassy will be closed. US citizens are advised to quickly respond to air raid alarms and to swiftly find shelter.
In light of the increasing security threat, Italy, Spain, and Greece have also decided to close their embassies.
