The President of the Czech Republic called for a comprehensive plan for the restoration of Ukraine.
The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, believes that a joint action plan with North America and Europe is necessary for the restoration of Ukraine. He expressed his opinion at a press conference after meeting with the President of Switzerland, Viola Amherd.
Pavel believes that the plan will represent a prospect for Ukraine, and only by knowing about the projects they can participate in, people who emigrated from the country due to the threat of war with Russia will be able to assist in reconstruction. The president compared this plan with the Marshall Plan for the reconstruction of Europe after World War II.
Petr Pavel believes that it is necessary to build a defense system that will not cause losses of people but will make Ukraine attractive for its citizens. He stressed that Ukrainians should see opportunities in their country, similar to those in Western countries.
The President of Switzerland, Viola Amherd, stated that Switzerland is ready to help resolve the conflict and emphasized the importance of adhering to international law and the UN Charter. She believes that the prospects for peace and the restoration of Ukraine are strategically important for Switzerland and the whole of Europe.
