Border guards warned of traffic difficulties at one of the checkpoints.
At the 'Hrebenne – Rava-Ruska' checkpoint, possible traffic difficulties due to repair work that has begun on the asphalt surface. The work is expected to continue until September 12, 2024, and is already underway at the entrance to Ukraine for passenger cars and at truck parking lots at the entrance and exit. The State Border Guard Service is asking citizens to take this information into account and, if possible, choose other checkpoints.
Also, on August 13 at the 'Palanka – Mayaki-Udobne' checkpoint in the Odesa region, work will be stopped for several hours in the first half of the day.
Recently, Ukrainians have been more frequently crossing the border through checkpoints at the border with Poland, which is associated with the tourist season.
Additional regulatory restrictions have also been introduced in the border zone within the limits of the Uzhgorod district to prevent violations.
In addition, at 16 checkpoints, regular and irregular carriers have the opportunity to choose a time slot for a projected border crossing.
