Border guards warned Ukrainians about possible queues at the border: reason.
Before Easter, the number of passengers at the Ukrainian border began to rise, particularly for entry into Ukraine. Over the course of the past day, 95 thousand citizens crossed the border, and over the weekend this number increased to more than 100 thousand. About 85% of them are Ukrainians. This was reported by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) Andriy Demchenko.
Demchenko also noted that due to the increase in passenger traffic, queues may form on some routes. This is especially true for entry into Ukraine.
According to forecaster Natalia Ptukha, warm weather without precipitation is expected across Ukraine for Easter, except for the Carpathian region, where short-term rains with thunderstorms are predicted.
In addition, the Kyiv authorities appealed to religious communities with a request to limit the holding of mass Easter services and to provide online broadcasts.
