Ukrainian men aged 17 (16) years must be on military registration, but this does not affect their studies. According to information from the portal 'Yuristy.UA', lawyer Vera Bratchenko explained that the absence of a military registration certificate is not a reason for expulsion from the educational institution. The mother of a 16-year-old college student contacted lawyers because their son was not registered for military accounting due to being abroad. Bratchenko also noted that violations of military registration, such as the absence of a military registration certificate, do not affect education or diploma issuance, but the man must be on military registration according to the law from the age of 16-17.
