The Prosecutor's Office named the consequences of the night shelling of Kharkiv.
Occupants shelled Kharkiv: two houses were destroyed
Around midnight on September 19, Russian occupiers launched a rocket strike on Kharkiv, resulting in the destruction of two private houses in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city. There were no casualties or fatalities. This was reported by the spokesman of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office Dmytro Chubenko.
A large fire also broke out, engulfing outbuildings and vegetation.
As of the first hour of the night, three impact sites were discovered. All of them are in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Outbuildings and dewy areas covering about a thousand square meters caught fire. There were no injured or deceased individuals at the site – the statement reads.
According to the regional prosecutor's office representative, two private residential houses were destroyed as a result of the explosions.
According to preliminary information, the Russian invaders used ballistic weapons for this attack. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a criminal investigation for violations of the laws and customs of war.
Rescuers and law enforcement officers were working at the scene. Residents are urged to be cautious and follow safety rules during air raids.
