FSB Failure: Ukrainian Intelligence Staged the Assassination of RDK Commander.
According to ТСН: The attempt to eliminate the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps, Denis Kapustin, may have serious consequences for the military and political leadership of Russia.
Military Analyst's Comment
Military analyst Ivan Timochko noted on the air of 'Channel 24' that Ukrainian special services managed to integrate into the decision-making processes of the enemy, ensuring the ability to effectively manipulate information.
‘While we were spreading misinformation about the alleged death of Kapustin, the Russian leadership was receiving 'confirmations' that were purposefully fed to them. This failure will not go unpunished — officials at the level of generals will bear responsibility,’ emphasized Timochko.
Financial Costs for Russia
The expert also emphasized that Russia is ready to invest significant financial resources in organizing contract murders, diversions, and other operations beyond the front line, yet even such expenditures do not guarantee success.
Weakness of Russian Special Services
According to Timochko, this situation once again highlights the weakness of Russian special services and the depth of problems within their management system.
It is also worth noting that Ukrainian intelligence succeeded in deceiving the Russians by simulating the assassination of Denis Kapustin. Currently, the commander of the RDK is preparing to continue carrying out his tasks, which may indicate new challenges for Russian military structures.
