The UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Destroyed Key Bases of the Geran and Shahed Drones.
According to ТСН: On the night of December 30, the units of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a major operational event aimed at destroying strategically important enemy objects in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region.
The commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi shared information about the success of the operation through his Telegram channel.
According to the command, the operation was carried out by the reconnaissance management forces of the 414th separate reconnaissance battalion "Madyar Birds" together with the newly established Deep Strike Center of the UAV Forces.
Objective of the Operation
The main task of the operation was to weaken the logistical and technical infrastructure that supports the preparation and operation of enemy strike drones such as "Geran", "Shahed", and "Herbera".
Results of the Operation
As a result of the actions taken, several important objects were destroyed or damaged, including:
logistical hub for the storage and preparation of UAVs "Geran" and "Shahed";
pre-flight preparation and maintenance point for drones of the types "Geran", "Shahed" and "Herbera";
central ammunition depot for strike drones;
accumulation warehouse for drones "Herbera";
concentration point for personnel and technical staff engaged in preparing and servicing drones.
This operation was meticulously planned based on intelligence data and aimed at destroying key elements of the enemy's infrastructure involved in the production and launch of strike UAVs. It is part of a broader strategy of the Ukrainian forces aimed at countering the use of UAVs by Russia, which are often employed to attack civilian and military facilities in Ukraine.
The UAV operation is intended to reduce the enemy's combat capabilities and enhance the control of Ukrainian forces over the situation at the front. In these conditions, emphasis is placed not only on the destruction of UAVs but also on disrupting the logistical chains that support the enemy's army in order to reduce its ability to conduct further offensive actions.
We remind you that "Madyar" warned about a new threat to the frontline areas. He emphasized that the risk to civilian vehicles significantly increases in fog and at night.
This operation is a vivid example of Ukraine's current efforts to weaken the enemy's military capabilities. Through such measures, Ukrainian forces aim not only to protect their territories but also to minimize threats to the civilian population. In the context of the ongoing conflict, it is important to adapt strategies to respond to the challenges arising during hostilities.
