According to ТСН: Vladimir Putin held a new meeting with military leadership, where he reiterated his aggressive intentions. Despite statements from Western leaders about the desire for peace, Putin officially ordered the occupying forces to continue the "phased capture" of the Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

At the meeting, Putin emphasized that he plans not only to hold onto already captured territories but also to move further. He claims successes in the directions of Siversk, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk, asserting that the Russian group "Vostok" has supposedly broken through the Ukrainian defense and is advancing towards Zaporizhzhia.

"The group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine blocked near the Oskol river is gradually melting away," Putin stated.

Putin also focused on Kupiansk, demanding the military to "decisively counter" the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The tasks of liberating Donbas, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions are being carried out step by step, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are retreating," noted the Russian dictator.

Moreover, he reminded about the Russian border, instructing to expand the so-called "security strip" along the border by 2026.

It is also worth noting that earlier, the Kremlin claimed that Ukraine must withdraw its troops from the entire territory of Donbas, and only after that can Moscow consider the possibility of halting hostilities.

These statements by Putin underline the constant pressure on Ukraine, demonstrating Russia's intentions to continue its aggressive policy in the region. This worries war veterans in eastern Ukraine and the international community, as such meetings determine the next steps in the conflict.
