Russia has already lost geopolitically: Kovalenko on raw material dependence on China.
According to ТСН: Vladimir Putin continues to avoid the peace process and actively conducts military actions. However, from a geopolitical point of view, Russia has already suffered a serious defeat. It has turned into a raw material appendage of China, and by using force, the Kremlin will not be able to return Ukraine to the 'Russian world'.
Position of the Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation
This information was released by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko. He emphasized that Putin chose a course to disrupt the peace process and continue the war, which may eventually lead to the internal disintegration of Russia. According to him, Russia has already lost in geopolitical terms. One of the reasons for this is that the country has become a raw material appendage of China, and forcibly returning Ukraine to the 'Russian world' is impossible.
"In the paradigm of decades, Russia will think exclusively about how not to split apart. And all of this is a consequence of the course that Putin has chosen"
Problems in St. Petersburg
Kovalenko also stressed that the main problem of Russia is the Putin regime and the model of elites he has built. In the 1990s, Russia chose the Soviet model within the RF, and President Boris Yeltsin could not transform this 'Asian civilization' into a democratic state. According to Kovalenko, the only factor that can protect Russia from disintegration in the future is China.
Military actions and their consequences
The motive of Putin for not seeking peace was also discussed. The dictator is convinced that "Russians are advancing on all fronts," and it is precisely about these "successes" that he is being informed.
"Putin said, why should we stop now, if by the end of spring we will 'liberate' everything — that is, capture Donetsk and Luhansk regions in full. Therefore, it is impossible for Putin to stop now. You know, one can get drawn into a war, but getting out of a war is very difficult. You understand what a complex mechanism it is for a ceasefire. For the order to reach an individual soldier in the trench, and for this soldier to execute the order, and not to open fire and start shooting. So in this sense, it is impossible for Putin to stop today"
Thus, the current situation indicates deep internal problems in Russia caused by Putin's actions. The course he has chosen not only exacerbates military conflicts but also threatens the stability of the country itself. If approaches are not changed, the geopolitical consequences may be devastating not only for Russia but for the entire region.
