The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan summoned the temporary charge d'affaires of the Russian Federation Embassy in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Petr Volokov, due to attacks on Azerbaijanis in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg.
