Putin has once again exploded with absurd statements: from 'Oreshnik' threats to peace negotiations and gas transit.
Putin: Slovakia is ready to provide a platform for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Slovakia is ready to provide a platform for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. He made this statement during a press conference after a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Putin also emphasized that Russia is not opposed to such an option and wants to end the conflict in Ukraine.
Putin also reported that U.S. President Joe Biden offered him a delay for Ukraine's entry into NATO for 10-15 years. He also noted that Ukraine cannot exist without support from Europe.
The Kremlin chief also mentioned that Russia is ready to supply gas to Europe via Poland and expressed the opinion that Ukrainians will punish Europe by stopping the transit of Russian gas. He also noted that concluding a new gas transit contract through Ukraine will be impossible a few days before New Year.
Putin also declared Russia's readiness to use powerful medium-range weapons, including 'Oreshnik' within the framework of the special military operation, and did not rule out the possibility of using this weapon today or tomorrow if necessary.
