Orban flies to Moscow: what he will discuss with Putin and what the peace plan is.
Orban's visit to Moscow
According to The Sun: Today, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is heading to Moscow for important negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. On the agenda is the discussion of a peace plan for Ukraine, which was supported by Donald Trump.
Orban also confirmed that the meeting will address the issue of oil and gas supplies to Hungary. He noted that it is unlikely that they will avoid the topic of ongoing peace efforts.
“I cannot avoid discussing the current peace initiatives,” Orban said.
This visit indicates the continuation of dialogue between Hungary and Russia, despite the tense political situation in Ukraine and the crisis in relations between the Western world and Moscow. The situation surrounding energy resource supplies remains an important topic for many European countries, and Orban will try to find beneficial solutions for Hungary.
