Will Installing the 'Reserve+' App Lead to a Draft Office Fine?
According to Novyny.live: Attorney Yaroslav Turchyn has clarified that installing the 'Reserve+' mobile application does not affect the possibility of receiving a fine from a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC). He emphasized that simply having the app on a user's device is not grounds for imposing a financial penalty.
The 'Reserve+' app provides personal access to data from state-held registries and databases. As Turchyn stressed,
"It does not store data. It is merely personal access for an individual to the data in registries and databases held by the state, which the state chooses to open to citizens."Therefore, using the app is not linked to automatic fines.
However, the lawyer noted that information for the mandatory verification of user data is indeed sent to the TRC during the installation of 'Reserve+'. This is technically necessary, as logging into the app would be impossible without it. Turchyn concluded:
"Whether or not you have 'Reserve+' has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not you have a fine."
Conclusions on Using 'Reserve+'
Consequently, users can utilize the 'Reserve+' mobile app without fear of incurring fines, as the mere act of installing it is not a valid reason for sanctions from a TRC.
This clarification is vital for citizens, providing clarity on the use of new technologies for accessing state data. The 'Reserve+' app can be a useful tool for obtaining current information without raising concerns about potential penalties. In Ukraine, digital tools like this are increasingly used to streamline citizen-state interactions, making such legal guidance essential to prevent confusion.
