The RF significantly increased the number of assaults against the backdrop of statements about a truce.

In the last day, on May 3, Russian occupiers launched 253 attacks. This is the third highest figure for the year. Analyses from DeepState indicate an increase in the intensity of hostilities in the last week. Over 6 days this week, 1219 attacks were registered, compared to 1150 in the last seven days of the previous week.

Only on March 11 and February 15 of this year were there more attacks than yesterday. This indicates the enemy's intentions to become more active before 'Victory Day', the day when the opposing side will provide some of its troops with rest.

The most active offensive operation is taking place in the Pokrovsk direction - 42% of all attacks. There is also a high intensity in the Novopavlivsk - 13.7%, Lyman - 12.7% and Kursk directions - 12%. Thus, these four directions account for 80% of all enemy assaults.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to Vladimir Putin's initiative to declare a three-day truce from May 7 to 9, calling it a theatrical performance. The President also stated that Ukraine is ready for a truce starting May 7, but for 30 days.
