Russian aviation attacked a nursing home in the Kursk region

According to Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, a press officer for the military commandant of the Kursk region, Russian aviation conducted two airstrikes on a nursing home for the elderly in Suja. The building of the nursing home has been heavily damaged, with windows and doors destroyed, and as a result of one of the strikes, one woman died. All those affected are elderly people with disabilities and illnesses. Among the people in the building, many were suffering from Parkinson's or other severe conditions. The condition of the victims is serious.

About 70 people who previously lived in Ukrainian-controlled territories in Russia are currently in the nursing home. The issue of relocating these people is still being resolved.

Overall, due to Russian air, artillery, and mortar strikes in the Suja district, 36 civilians have been killed, over 100 have been injured, and 70 people have died from natural causes. Such actions by the Russian authorities can be regarded as genocide against their own population.

Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi believes that for the Russian authorities, this is not beneficial, as they do not want these people to survive and tell the Ukrainian military about the real attitude towards them. It should be noted that Ukrainian forces have been conducting active combat operations in the Kursk region since the beginning of January, which was a surprise for Russia.
