Russia attacks the railway every night: what is being prepared at Ukrzaliznytsia.
According to inkorr.com: Since the beginning of summer, the Russian Federation has regularly attacked Ukraine's railway infrastructure, striking almost every night. According to the head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Pertsovsky, they record six to seven attacks a night.
These attacks are not aimed at military targets but deliberately damage civilian infrastructure to incite panic among passengers and harm the country's economy.
Pertsovsky noted that Russian long-range drones, particularly Shaheds, are used for the attacks. Previously, there were not enough resources for this, but the situation has changed over the past months.
Systematic attacks
A representative of Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized that Russia conducts attacks systematically, trying to paralyze key hubs of railway transport and stop passenger trains.
Additionally, it became known about the shelling of the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region, where Russian troops made over 30 hits, resulting in the destruction of buildings and the outbreak of a fire. The attacks also affect transportation infrastructure facilities.
Russia is intensifying strikes on Ukraine's railway infrastructure, damaging civilian objects and causing chaos among passengers. Shelling also affects the civilian population and transport facilities, leading to tremendous destruction and fires. The situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense, and Ukrainian services need to take active measures to restore damaged facilities and protect the population from further attacks.
This news highlights the serious threats arising from the attacks on Ukraine's railway infrastructure. Constant shelling not only endangers passenger safety but also seriously impacts the country's economy. In conditions where shelling continues, it is crucial for services to respond quickly and effectively to prevent further destruction and protect civilians.Read also
