Russia attacked energy facilities: which regions have introduced electricity restrictions.
The occupiers attacked energy facilities in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has struck electrical networks in several regions, leaving consumers without electricity in the Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions. This was reported by Ukrenergo on the Glavkom portal.
'Energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate the damage as quickly as possible and provide consumers with electricity. Emergency recovery work is being carried out in compliance with safety requirements and after obtaining the necessary permits from military personnel,' the message reads.
Restrictions on electricity consumption in Ukraine
Due to the consequences of the shelling, restrictions on electricity consumption have been introduced in most regions of the country. The hour-long disconnection schedules, which will be in effect until the end of the day, involve disconnecting for a period of 2 to 4 hours. Initially, it was planned to turn off the electricity for 2-3.5 hours, but these plans have been revised.
Moreover, in areas with hourly disconnections, power restrictions have been introduced for the industrial sector and businesses.
Power outages due to bad weather in Kirovohrad region
Due to worsening weather conditions in the Kirovohrad region, there is no electricity supply in 16 settlements. Emergency recovery work is already underway, and it is expected that consumers will regain electricity by the end of the day.
Recall that the day before, Russia attacked the Odesa region with drones. Fires at energy facilities were extinguished thanks to the efforts of rescuers.
Current information about power outages and electricity supply restrictions in Ukraine due to shelling and worsening weather conditions will be updated regularly.
These events underscore the blows that the country is experiencing in the midst of war, as well as the need to adapt to new challenges faced by the energy sector. Despite the difficulties, energy workers and rescuers are doing everything possible to ensure the stability of electricity supply for the population.
