Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones: what is known about the consequences.
Zaporizhzhia has undergone drone attacks from the Russian army
According to inkorr.com: On October 18, during the night, Russian occupation forces launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia using drones. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, in an article by 'Gromadske'.
As Fedorov noted, a fire broke out in an administrative building due to the Russian drone attack in Zaporizhzhia.
Currently, there is no information about the victims.
Attacks on Zaporizhzhia in the past
Earlier, on the night of October 10, Russian terrorists also struck Zaporizhzhia using drones and ballistic missiles. This was again reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA.
Approximately at 02:00, the enemy inflicted at least three strikes on the city, resulting in a fire in a residential building. Two people were injured: a 7-year-old child and a 45-year-old woman, who are in serious condition.
According to Fedorov, the occupiers conducted at least seven drone attacks, trying to hit private houses and infrastructure facilities. As a result of one of the attacks, one of the victims died in the hospital.
The repeated attacks by Russian troops on Zaporizhzhia indicate an increase in tension in the region and a threat to the civilian population. These actions lead to new human casualties and material losses, confirming the escalation of military actions from Russia.
Currently, drones remain one of the main tools for attacks for the Russian army, posing serious challenges for Ukrainian defense. Zaporizhzhia, which has repeatedly been shelled, continues to remain in the risk zone, raising concerns among local residents and security services.
