SBU confirmed: Russia cannot restore strategic aviation after Operation Spider.
According to ТСН: After the Security Service of Ukraine conducted the special operation 'Spider,' the Russian side has still been unable to compensate for the losses inflicted on the country's strategic aviation.
According to information from Western intelligence agencies, despite unsuccessful attempts by the Kremlin to conceal the real scale of losses, Russia continues to feel the consequences of this attack and does not have the capability to restore its aviation potential.
'Despite all of the Kremlin's attempts to hide the real scale of the losses suffered, Russia still cannot overcome the consequences of this attack and restore its strategic aviation potential.'
It should be noted that the SBU's special operation, during which 41 aircraft of the enemy's strategic aviation were hit, was developed and coordinated by Vasyl Maliuk, while the attack was directly carried out by the SBU's 'Alpha' drone operators.
Operation Details
The operation 'Spider' took place on June 1, 2025, and since then Russia has been trying to replace the aircraft lost during this event.
Attacks on strategic airfields in Russia were carried out using drones that were launched from trucks parked near gas stations.
The Ukrainian special service delivered fpv-drones to Russia, and later — mobile wooden houses. Within Russia, these drones were hidden under the roofs of the houses that were placed on trucks.
The drones accomplished their missions at military airfields in the Irkutsk, Ryazan, Murmansk, and Ivanovo regions.
The situation regarding the losses of Russian aviation during the 'Spider' special operation emphasizes the importance of effective security measures and modern technologies in contemporary military conflicts. These events indicate new approaches to conducting warfare, where unmanned aerial vehicles play a key role in achieving strategic advantage.
