On the night of Thursday, November 28, Russia attacked Ukraine using Kalibr and X-101 missiles. The attack was aimed at energy and infrastructure facilities, resulting in power outages in some areas.

In the morning, the Air Forces reported the takeoff of strategic bombers Tu-95MS from Russia. They also observed missile launches. All this led to air alert across Ukraine, and the Air Forces tracked the movement of missiles in the west of the country.

According to Ukrenergo, electricity was turned off in Kyiv. Minister Herman Haluschenko reported large-scale attacks by Russia on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. A decision was made to disconnect power supply in emergency mode.

Due to the lack of electricity, six trains were delayed. Explosions were also recorded in Kropyvnytskyi and Lutsk. More than 280 thousand subscribers in Rivne were left without electricity. A civil enterprise was attacked in Kharkiv, and infrastructure was damaged in Shostka. There were also explosions in Kyiv.

Explosions also occurred in Mykolaiv and Khmelnytskyi. In Vinnytsia region, residential buildings were damaged. Explosions were also heard in Ivano-Frankivsk. In Lviv region, numerous subscribers were left without electricity.

Dmytro Lubinets, the authorized representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for human rights, stated that attacks on critical infrastructure constitute terrorism aimed at frightening the civilian population and provoking a humanitarian crisis.
