Night Attack on Kyiv: Up to 12 Ballistic Missiles and Over 200 Shaheds.
Night Attack on Kyiv
According to ТСН: During the nighttime strike on Kyiv, Russian forces carried out a combined attack using ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as strike drones. According to preliminary data, about 12 ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M type and 22-27 cruise missiles of the Kalibr type were launched at the capital.
Moreover, the enemy used more than 200 Shahed strike drones. As noted by a military analyst, the Kalibr cruise missiles moved in a spiral, indicating an attempt to overload the air defense system.
Residual Threat
According to preliminary assessments, the air threat remains high. The Russian military may again use airballistic missiles X-47M2 Kinzhal — about 4-5 units, as well as cruise missiles of the Iskander-K type in quantities from 6 to 12 units.
Official data regarding the number of aerial assault means and the consequences of the attack are currently being clarified. Air defense forces continue their work.
The attack in Kyiv continues: fires and damage to buildings have been recorded in several areas. Medical teams have responded to calls.
This attack underscores that the situation in Ukraine remains tense. Despite the efforts of air defense forces, new aggressive actions by the enemy indicate that the threat to civilians and infrastructure continues to exist. The response of emergency services and the further development of events will be key aspects in ensuring the safety of the population.
