Zelensky revealed a new tactic of the Russian Federation: kamikaze drones attack from Belarus.
According to ТСН: The Russian troops have started using the territory of Belarus for maneuvering kamikaze drones, hoping to bypass Ukrainian interception lines.
President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that during the recent Staff meeting, special attention was paid to the latest attacks on Kovel. According to him, the analysis indicated that the enemy is trying to locate Ukrainian air defense systems and find ways to bypass them.
‘There is a problem that they see our interception lines, which we are working quite effectively, and want to bypass them. They are bypassing them, thanks also to Belarus: both from Belarusian territory and technically also thanks to Belarus. This is a serious issue,’ Zelensky stated.
He also added that all these issues will be discussed at the next Staff meeting.
Recently, Russian troops struck a critical infrastructure facility in the Volyn region, but fortunately, no one was injured.
Earlier, Zelensky reported on the almost complete readiness of the 20-point peace plan.
The situation at the front remains tense, and Russia's actions on Belarusian territory increase risks for Ukrainian forces. Meanwhile, the preparation of the peace plan offers hope for a potential peaceful resolution of the situation in the region, although the path to peace appears challenging and will require efforts from both sides.
